BigFred Oct 20, MistahFox Nov 3, Additionally, the rebreather-like apparatus on the sides of the helmet now match the players color instead of being a concrete white. There is also a red emblem identical to the symbol found on health packs and on the helmets of marine medics visible on the right side of the "forehead" of the helmet. It seems to have more firmware than the older version, and looks larger.
It is unlocked at SR in Infinity Multiplayer. The Shadow skin for it is unlocked by mastering the Regicide Victory commendation.
Halo Alpha Explore. Getting Started. Administrators Guidelines Online Chat. Halo Recruit , Windows Halo: Fireteam Raven , Arcade cabinet. Cryptum Primordium Silentium The Cole Protocol Envoy All I'm asking is that they let us turn off fracture content. Why not? What makes you think it's going to be "covered" because of a single snowman helmet leak? This is such a tiny issue man. MCC is a testbed for infinite, we all know this. The things they're adding to MCC now, are usually things they're looking to add in infinite.
So MCC is a paid game with free season passes, and it's already slowly getting covered in setting-unfriendly cosmetics, whereas Infinite is a free-to-play game with paid season passes, which means they have to sell, otherwise Microsoft won't profit off the game.
What does that mean? Just look at any other free-to-play game on the market and you'll see just how badly they've butchered their art styles with continuous waves of setting unfriendly cosmetics in order to make money. Add on top of that, the fact that have already confirmed whole events built around setting-unfriendly cosmetics in the form of "fractures," and you should at least begin to understand why I think Infinite is gonna be covered with this sort of thing. Sure, it might be a tiny issue to you, who don't care about the setting or art style, but that doesn't invalidate my enjoyment of the game, which comes largely from the setting and art style.
Yes, Halo is one of, if not the best FPS game on the market, and yes, you can say that it's "just cosmetic," and "doesn't affect gameplay," But the whole reason it's my favorite game is its artistic facets; setting, visual art, audio art, atmosphere, tone, writing, characters, themes, and everything in-between.
See This , and this , which explain my point perfectly. Again, it's so bizarre to me that some of the same people who praise for returning to an art style that looks like Halo, simultaneously defend them for adding things that break that art style far more than anything that came before.
MCC isn't only a test bed for infinite, I agree they use it to test things but at the same time the new additions are a way of keeping old games alive. I'm not saying cosmetics shouldn't ever affect your judgment, just that you shouldn't write off an entire game because of a snowman helmet that screams "seasonal event". No, I think people write off the game because has a blackened history, and any indication of them taking the wrong choice is probably the one they'll go for.
Regardless, that isn't the reason stated here. I'm not writing off the game. Super excited for Infinite, I just think it's a damn shame that the game is probably gonna be an artistic catastrophe shortly after launch.
Yeah no it still sounds like you're writing the game off even now dude, "artistic catastrophe" man come on lol it's just a snowman helmet it isn't the end of the world. I really don't think you should be disallowed from mixing and matching certain cores and helmets just because they clip. I certainly don't mind seeing armor clip into itself as much as I would seeing somebody running around in a snowman helmet.
Can't wait to see noobs running around with the snowman helmet all year around out of season I hope it becomes Infinites "Ghastly Gibus"..
And I think that Scout helmet is actually called "Celox", much like how that Recon helmet is called "Trailblazer" and that Recruit-esque helmet is called "Cavallino". Incredible that the only way we get more in depth info about this game are through leaks. The GEN2 Scout design is still looking quite nice. Assuming that these were rendered properly, I'm glad this armor doesn't look so much like brand new plastic, like the Halo 5 suits. The paint's pretty nicely matte, too.
I still don't like the idea of coatings for color choice but all the other parts of customization are looking pretty good so far. Has there been anything about the Security helmet? It is my favorite. I hope they bring back the design from Halo 3.
I assume there would be a lot of clipping issues with certain armours. Our multiplayer Spartans are canon so they are Spartan 4s. They should let you mix and match even if it creates clipping issues. I'd rather see the latter then the former, if anything. Understandable, if stuff starts to get worse and worse I might be entering the same boat.
Gen 3 Mark VI is getting its own core. Oh true completely forgot she was using a unique set. Because ofcourse they would say that wouldn't they? Thank god, Im really hoping they dont make the rebreathers too skinny, those plus the eyes were the big draws for me in halo 3 days Hopefully the visor has an attachment where it can be a Reach style visor or Halo 3 goggles.
I feel like its more intimidating knowing for sure when someone is staring at you whereas with a visor they could be looking anywhere They make more sense to, reduces odds of shrapnel and give the overall helmet a stronger structure instead of a big weakpoint right in front of your face. But there is like a version of EOD for the dieselpunk armor core which is interesting. I'm ready to get obsessed with collecting these. Based on the chest piece it looks like it belongs with the Reach core The chest piece is Mk 7, which might be a placeholder but also might be indicative of which core.
It's unfortunate, one of my favorites from Reach, there's still hope. I hope the former, only to discourage people from wearing it. Maybe that's copium though. I know you can hear me give me back my damn pilot helmet!
